Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of a flash through a mating part of a mold even in the case where the working temperature of the mold is high, by specifying the angle of inclination of a sliding mechanism of a slide core against a mold-opening direction and the angle of inclination of both sliding surfaces of the slide core. CONSTITUTION:By a mold-opening operation, a recessed groove 36 of a length L is slidden between ridges 22, the slide core 20 is engaged with a slide retainer 34, is drawn in the direction orthogonal to the mold-opening direction, is disengaged from an undercut-molding part 42 of a cavity 40 and is disengaged also from a stepped part 18 of a stopper 16, so that it is released from a restraint in the mold-opening direction. The sliding mechanism 48 for the slide core 20 is inclined at an angle of 15 deg. against the mold-opening direction and both the sliding surfaces of the core 20 are inclined at angles of 6 deg. so as to ensure a correct operation of the mechanism 48, reduce the frictional resistance at the time of operation and facilitate the treatment of the mold at the undercut part.
