Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the output of a sinnsaidal wave, or a step form wave approximate to a sine wave by a method wherein function generators and a multiplier, with which the amplitude of current to be applied to a converter will be modulated by the output signal sent from the function generators, are provided. CONSTITUTION:The function generators 8 and 9, which will be functioned by the signal to be used to control the gates of inverters 1INV and 2INV, are provided on a direct-coupled duplex current type inverter, and at the same time, multipliers 10 and 11, which modulate the amplitude of the current to be applied to the converters 1CON and 2CON by the output signal sent from the above inverters, are provided at the former stage of a converter current control section. Then, for example, signal waves I1 (theta) and I2 (theta) are generated by function generators 8 and 9 corresponding to the carrier wave to be sent to the inverters 1INV and 2INV, modulated to signal waves Ic1 and Ic2 by multiplying to the output I0 of a voltage controller 3 using the multipliers 10 and 11, and the output of the converters 1CON and 2CON is controlled so as to obtain the desired signal wave through the intermediary of a current control and amplifying devices 14 and 15.
