Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve fuel consumption by disposing a solenoid valve at an upstream point from a fork of a suction passage and performing the control of the above mentioned valve in accordance with an opening or closing speed of a throttle valve, thereby precisely controlling the quantity of fuel.
CONSTITUTION: An air quantity detector 3 disposed in a suction passage 2 is forced to output an analog signal having a frequency in proportion to an air quantity. After the signal is subjected to A/D conversion 4, it is sent to a CPU5. A throttle valve opening sesnro 9 which detects an opening of a throttle valve 8 is actuated to produce a voltage signal S1 which corresponds to the opening of the throttle valve 8. The signal S1 is subjected to time differention by a differentiator circuit 10 to form a differention signal S2, which is subjected to A/D conversion 4 and thereafter inputted into the CPU5. Based on the digitized differention signal, the CPU5 performs pulse width modulation of a pulse train output corresponding to the quantity of air and produces an output to control an electromagnetic fuel injection valve (solenoid valve) by the medium of a driver 6.
