Abstract

PURPOSE: To get sufficient supercharging without generating any excessive pressure in an engine by providing a controller which reduces supercharged pressure in response to the output of an intake air volume sensor when the intake air volume is more than the predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 12 is provided, together with an operation circuit 12a a set voltage generator 12b and an electromagnetic valve driving circuit 12c, which response to the output of intake air volume sensor 5, to reduce the supercharged pressure when it is more than predetermined intake air volume. The volume signal from the sensor 5 varies in response to the intake air volume as shown by curved line A while the preset voltage is constant as shown by straight line B. Hereupon, the controller 12a generates an output such as C by subtracting the signal B from the signal A. This output is led to the circuit 12c. When the signal from the circuit 12a is positive, the output B is generated in response to the magnitude of the signal and this output drives a proportional electromagnetic valve 11, and makes said valve open in response to this output.
