Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain optimum operation even under a transient operational condition, by providing an electromagnetic valve in an auxiliary path which by-passes a stop valve and exercising control by the output of a function generator in accordance with the signal related to the operational condition of the internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: Secondary suction cylinder 3, which is provided in parallel with primary suction cylinder 2, is provided in auxiliary path 12, which by-passes secondary side stop valve 6. Opposite orifice 13 is provided needle 21, which is deflected by electromagnetic valve 20. Electromagnetic valve 20 is electrically connected to function generator 103. Function generator 103 receives signals of the number of revolutions 101 of the engine and processes them. When number of revolutions 101 is in the idle state, condition 102 of intake negative pressure or car speed is inputted to function generator 103 and it is compared with reference level 104 corresponding to the number of idle revolutions. By this, electromagnetic valve 20 is operated and the amount of air flow passing through auxiliary path 12 is controlled, and thereby the number of revolutions of the engine is fed back and controlled.
