Abstract

PURPOSE: To optimize accelerating fuel necessary for an engine and improve the feeling of ride, by generating an accelerating pulse signal in the acceleration of the engine and controlling the time width of the pulse signal depending on the rotational frequency of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: An F-V conversion circuit 10 generates an output depending on the revolution of the engine. An output is picked out from a throttle switch 9. These outputs are entered into a pulse generator circuit 12, which generates an accelerating pulse at the time of such acceleration of the engine that a throttle valve 9a entirely closed is opened. The pulse is entered into an OR circuit 6 to open a fuel injection valve 8 non-synchronously with the revolution of the engine to supply the accelerating fuel to the engine. When the pulse generator circuit 12 is at an F-point, the throttle valve 9a is closed for more than a predetermined time. Only when the throttle valve is opened after that, the pulse is produced. The time width of the pulse depends on the rotational frequency of the engine.
