Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of characteristics of a piezo electric ceramic element by reserving an electrode used in polarization process and making conduction between both electrodes during work with heating. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 2 used during polarization process is reserved and taken from a block of a piezo ceramic element 1 utilizing a thickness slipage vibration, and an electrode 3 utilizing a thickness slipage vibration is installed. When short circuiting the electrodes 2 and further applying a process accompanying heating like adhesive setting during cut working, soldering, etc., electron charge due to pyro-electric effect accruing from temperature variation of the element is cancelled, and the piezo-electric characteristic of the piezo electric ceramic element is not deteriorated.
