Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an image support material having no creases by having a guide member guiding the image support member between a pair of conveying members, and bringing at least a part of the guide member into contact with at least one of a pair of the conveying members. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 7 having an uphill slope toward the conveying direction of a conveying belt 5 receiving an image support member from the said belt and conducting the same to a fixing roller 11 is provided between the belt 5 and the roller 11. The member 7 is provided with a plate body 8 fixed onto a shaft part 9 mounted rotatably to the body of a device and a polyester film 81 thereon, and the leading end part of said film 81 is in contact with the roller 11 having flexibility at a contact point 82. When paper 3 passes on the film 81 and arrives at its leading end part, the paper 3 is drawn strongly at the center, namely, the member 7 disperses the waving of the paper coming to the center toward the peripheral direction, thereby suppressing the generation of creases and making superior fixing possible.
