Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare calcined clinker in reduced fuel consumption by a rationalized installation by constituting a calcining apparatus of a powder stock material from a preheating apparatus equipped with a calcining furnace, a high temp. separating apparatus, an unifired stock material separator, a firing furnace and a clinker cooling apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A stock material to be fired such as a cement stock material or the like is thrown into a suspension type stock material preheating apparatus NSP with a calcining furnace 4 and introduced into the calcining furnace 4 through cyclones C2-C5 and heated by a burner 5A to carry out reaction CaCO3 CaO+CO2. The stock material discharged from the calcining furnace 4 is entered into an unifired stock material separator 6 and, after heated by heat exchange with a high temp. exhaust gas from a firing furnace 8, introduced into the post-fluidized layer type firing furnace 8. While a fluidized bed is formed on a porous plate 8A, said stock material is heated by a burner 5B to be fired into clinker and entered into a cooling apparatus 9 to be cooled therein and taken out therefrom as the fired clinker.
