Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a heat developing photosnsitive material suitable for an electrostatic printing master by laying a coated layer contg. a specified reducing agent together with org. silver salt, photosensitive silver halide or a halogen compound forming silver halide by the reaction with the org. silver salt, and a binder. CONSTITUTION:A heat developing photosensitive composition contg. a reducing agent represented by the formula (where each of R1-R4 is tertiary alky, and n is 2-10) by >=10wt% of the total amount of reducing agents is prepared. This composition contains org. silver salt such as silver behenate, silver halide or a halogen compound such as CaBr2, CBr4 or CCl4 capable of forming silver halide by the reaction with the org. silver salt, and a binder such as polyvinyl butyral besides said reducing agents. A photosensitive material is manufactured by coating a support with the composition, and an electrostatic printing master giving a superior toner image and having superior printing resistance, etc. is obtd. using the material.
