Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic printing master giving a superior toner image and having superior printing resistance, electrical fatigue resistance, etc. by using a heat developing photosensitive material having a coated layer contg. a specified reducing agent together with org. silver salt, photosensitive silver halide and a binder. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material is manufactured by coating a support with a heat developing photosensitive layer contg. a reducing agent represented by the formula (where each of R1 and R2 is tertiary alkyl, each of R3 and R4 is optionally substituted alkyl, and n is 1-4) together with org. silver salt, photosensitive silver halide or a halogen compound such as CCl4 or CaBr2 capable of forming silver halide by the reaction with the org. silver salt, and a binder such as polyvinyl butyral. Said reducing agent may be combined with other reducing agent such aminophenols by >=10wt% of the total amount of the agents. An electrostatic printing master giving a clear image and having superior printing resistance is obtd. using this heat developing material.
