Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled fiber wherein the cross section has a conjugate structure in which the one component divides the other component into plural sections to give the divided component a sheath-core structure and the core parts includes a specific antistatic agent, thus giving cloth of high flexibility and beauty.
CONSTITUTION: The one component A divides the other component B into a plurality, preferably 2W6 sections in the fiber-length direction wherein the component A is more readily removable by a solvent than the other component B. In the meantime, the component B is made into a sheath-core structure composed of the core part C and the sheath part D wherein the ratio of the core part C is preferably set to 10W30wt% and the core part C preferably contains an antistatic agent composed of a polyalkylene ether composition so that the share of the polyalkylene ether segment preferably becomes 0.1W2wt% in the component B. Finally, the component A is removed with a solvent to give the objective fiber.
