The specific magnetic characteristics of the magnetic plates 6-11 is selected and combined so that the magnetic field from the surface after magnetization is attenuated. Thus, the magnetic flux from a recording medium sliding surface 1 after magnetization enters the adjacent magnetic plates and attenuated toward the outlet side 3 of recording medium.
