CONSTITUTION:Magnetic plates 6-11 are constituted so that the strength of magnetic field produced from the surface is different and the polarity of the adjacent magnet plates is alternately opposite, when magnetization is made with a constant magnetic field. The specific magnetic characteristics of the magnetic plates 6-11 is selected and combined so that the magnetic field from the surface after magnetization is attenuated. Thus, the magnetic flux from a recording medium sliding surface 1 after magnetization enters the adjacent magnetic plates and attenuated toward the outlet side 3 of recording medium.
