Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and assembly, by using one substrate of a display panel which has placed a liquid crystal material between a pair of transparent substrates, as protection glass, as well, and connecting a touch electrode on said substrate and a circuit substrate terminal with a connector. CONSTITUTION:In a touch switch of a small-sized electronic apparatus such as an electronic wrist watch, a display panel 21 is formed by injecting a liquid crystal material 25 between a pair of substrates 23, 24 having an electrode 22 on the inside surface, and sealing them. One substrate 23 of this display panel 21 is used as protection glass of the display panel, as well, also a touch electrode 30 is formed on the upper surface of this substrate, this touch electrode 30 is connected to an electrode terminal 31 formed on the lower surface of this substrate 23, and this electrode terminal 31 and a prescribed terminal of an internal circuit substrate 34 are connected by an interconnector 36. According to said constitution, connection of the touch electrode 30 and the pescribed terminal of the circuit substrate 34 is simplified, the number of parts is decreased, and the assembly work is performed easily.
