Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve accuracy of a carburetor in such a way that a sliding throttle valve is provided on a flatless carburetor, and main fuel and low speed fuel injection port are adjusted by means of opening degrees of the throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: A sensing membrane 31 is provided for comparting a fuel pump 32 and fuel chamber 32 in the carburetor body 2 having an air inlet path 1, and fuel from the pump 20 is fed into the fuel chamber 32. The fuel chamber 32 is communicated through a main fuel path 38 having a needle valve 41 to a main fuel injection port 5, and further communicated through a low speed fuel path 44 having a needle valve 46 to a low speed injection port 6. Besides, a sliding throttle valve 3 which is movable in the orthogonal direction to the axial center of an air inlet path 1 is provided on the body 2. The main and low speed fuel injection ports 5, 6 are provided on the throttle valve 3, the low speed fuel injection port 6 is opened by means of idling opening degrees, and at larger opening degrees than above-mentinoned, the injection port 6 is closed. In addition, idling opening degrees of the throttle valve 3 are adjusted by means of an adjusting screw 16.
