Abstract
PURPOSE:To coat a one component type insulation characteristic toner stabily and uniformly on a developer holding member by charging insulation characteristic developing powder contg. beta-diketone complex by friction by means of a member disposed with a prescribed material on the surface layer. CONSTITUTION:Insulation characteristic developing powder 11 contg. the beta-diketone complex expressed by the chemical structural formula of the formula I is charged by friction by means of a friction charge applying member 10 disposed with the material selected from a prescribed material group (styrene type resins, polymers synthesized from vinyl ester type monomers, aliphatic type fluorine- contg. compounds, polycarbonate, polyphenylene oxide, polysulfone, silicone resins) on part or the whole of the surface layer.
