PURPOSE:To improve the tendency to decreasing of an electrostatic charge quantity under high-temp. and high humidity conditions by providing an intermediate layer contg. a specific resin and electrostatic charge friction control layer. CONSTITUTION:This carrier has the intermediate layer contg. the styrene resin on the core and has the triboelectrostatic charge control layer contg. a nitrogen- contg. resin on the intermediate layer. Namely, the styrene resin has the good adhesiveness between the core and the nitrogen-contg. resin, the mechanical strength of the carrier is improved by providing this intermediate layer thereto. The tendency to decreasing of the electrostatic charge quantity of the electrostatic charge developing agent using this carrier under the high-temp. and high- humidity conditions is thus prevented at a practicable level.
