Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent air from accumulation by biasing a water hose connecting port on the upper portion of a cylinder head toward a radiator to slanting steeply the ceiling of a water jacket in the cylinder head toward the water hose connecting port. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder head 3 is formed on the radiator 2 side with a hose connecting port 4 which is connected to an inlet on the upper portion of the radiator 2 by a hose 5. In the central portion of the cylinder head 3 is provided a ceiling 91 slanted steeply toward the hose connecting port 4 and having both side flat portions 92 lower than the ceiling 91. While air mixed with cooling water forms bubbles and reaches a water jacket 9 in the cylinder head 3, since the ceiling 91 is slanted steeply toward the hose connecting port 4, the bubbles are guided to the ceiling 91 to flow toward the hose 5 so that air cannot be accumulated in the water jacket 9.
