Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the bubbles produced in an ink tank from entering the inside of an ink jet heat by providing a branch pipe to part of an ink feed pipe and providing a filter immediately after the branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a bubble occurs in an ink tank 6 and this bubble is moved toward a head 5 by the flow of the ink by passing through an ink tank feed pipe 7, the large bubble moves upward directly toward a branch pipe 8 and escapes to the atmosphere through the outlet of the branch pipe. A small bubble stays in front of the filter 8 and finally escapes to the atmosphere through the branch pipe 8. Hence, transmission of the bubbles to the areas behind the filter part 9 of the ink feed pipe 7 does not occur.
