Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently separate air from water by providing a shielding plate in a pressure tank processing a large amount of the water. CONSTITUTION:When water, mixed with air, is poured into a tank 2 from an inlet pipe 1, the water is guided to the direction of an internal wall of the tank 1 by a flow direction changer plate 7. That is, the released water collides against the internal wall of the tank 1 to change its direction of flow to upper and lower stream lines along the internal wall of the tank 1. The released water directionally downward is partially decreased its flow speed by resistance of water intruded into the water to separate air. The released water directionally upward partially collides against a shielding plate 5, and is converted its flow from the upward to horizontal direction, and this double collision reduces the flow speed to separate the air.
