Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the escape of air in a pressure chamber by issuing bubbles from bubble nozzles for providing air-curtains. CONSTITUTION:When seawater current is conducted through a flow passage 18, an impeller 19 is rotated, and the air of a pressure chamber 17 is mixed into the seawater current as bubbles by the work of the impeller 19 to escape to the outside of a unit together with the seawater. When the seawater is introduced, bubbles are released from the first nozzle 15a and the second nozzle 15b for providing air-curtains 45 made of large bubbles. In this construction, the air is collected in collecting concaves on the ceiling of the flow passage 18 by the buoyancy of the large bubbles, and returned into the pressure chamber 17.
