Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply the mixture by pressure and to inject it while liquid material like water, emulsifier, etc. is mixed with liquid fuel by making the mixture fine and homogeneous while it does not perform sedimentation and separation simply.
CONSTITUTION: Heavy oil and water are fed under pressure by natural head difference respectively along passages 4, 5. Diaphragm pressure regulators 7 are provided on the passages 4, 5 and the pressures are regulated according to the ratio of mixture. Further, flow regulatores 8 which are regulated precisely to the ratio of mixture are provided. The passages 4, 5 are connected to a mixer 9, the heavy oil and the water are mixed under the state of turbulent flow, the water is mixed homogeneously with the heavy oil as fine particles and fed by pressure, injected from a burner and burnt. By such mixed feeding, energy necessary for mixture is smaller and more effective than by the conventional liquid tank stirring method and the device can be made compact.
