Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure an impact load acting on a moving structure by coupling a stationary board and a movable board with load detecting rods to be arranged in parallel to each other and providing the movable board with an accelerometer. CONSTITUTION:A stationary board and a movable board are coupled with load detecting rods so as to be arranged in parallel to each other and the movable board is provided with an accelerometer. For example, the movable board 3 provided with the accelerometer 5 is coupled with the stationary board 1 through the load detecting rods 2 provided with strain gauges 4 to constitute a load cell LC, which is fixed on a moving structure Sm. The impact load F(t) generated when the moving structure Sm collides with an opposing structure Sf is found by adding the load R(t) of the load cell LC to the product between the mass M of a movable part of the load cell LC and acceleration (a).
