Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture of a multipolar magnet being made small in size and having plural number of poles and moreover having high precision by a method wherein the magnet is made to have structure being made magnetic members having plural radial magnetic pole pieces to come in contact with the magnetic pole faces of a permanent magnet and to be fixed with each other. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic members 4a, 4b having radially plural pole pieces 3 at the circumferential edge parts are prepared. The member 4a is made to come in contact with the N pole face of the permanent magnet 2 coaxially, and the member 4b is made to come in contact with the S pole face coaxially. A shaft 6 is inserted with pressure in apertures 5, 1 in this condition to form the three in one body, and manufacture of the multipolar magnet is completed. In the multipolar magnet like this, because the magnetic pole pieces 3 of the member 4a coming in contact with the N pole face is magnetized automatically to N pole, and the magnetic pole pieces 3 of the member 4b coming in contact with the S pole face is magnetized automatically to S pole, the multipolar magnet having 12 pairs of N, S poles can be formed finally. Accordingly arranged of a multipole magnetizing device and a coil for magnetization, etc., is unnecessitated, and manufacture of the magnet being small in size can be attained readily.
