Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an information processor which can give the diagnosis to an error detection circuit with no information including an error required and with a reduced increment of hardware, by supplying the contents of a check bit inverting register when the writing is carried out to a storage means. CONSTITUTION:The different logic values are applied according to a test mode and a non-test mode to a check bit inversion indicating circuit 5 of a circuit consisting of a storage circuit 1 which stores an input data, an input selector 2 which selects the input data and the output of the circuit 1, a check bit syndrome generating circuit 7, an error detecting circuit 8, an error correcting circuit 3, etc. A register 6 indicates the check bit which causes an error when the circuit 5 indicates the execution of a test, and this output is connected to the position of the check bit of the selector 2. The circuit 5 displays that the circuit 8 has detected an error.
