Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (Y is oxygen, methylene or bonded nitrogen atom of R-N; R is H, formyl, lower alkanoyl or benzoyl which may be substituted ; l is 0.1 or 2 ; n is 1W10 ; m is 0W5).
EXAMPLE: A dehydrated polycondensate of p-(4-formyl-1-piperazinyl)phenylgermanium trihydroxide.
USE: An immunological activator, a hypotensive agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, etc.
PROCESS: A heterocyclic amine compound expressed by formula II and germanium tetrachloride are heated in the presence of a solvent, e.g. dichloroethane, at 50W 150°C, and the resultant product is then hydrolyzed in an aqueous solution of a caustic alkali to give a triol compound which is then dehydrated and polycondensed to afford the compound of formula I.
