Abstract
PURPOSE: To utilize heat produced or absorbed, accompanied with ion exchange reaction for the purpose of heat regeneration, by a method wherin ion exchange reaction is caused between inorganic salts, using at least two kinds of inorganic salt and a satulated solution of those salts.
CONSTITUTION: Inorganic salt compounds AB and CD are mixed with each other and are crushed to powder in a container. Then, the compounds are sealed in a container, together with a little quantity of liquid (water for instance), and an ion exchange reaction represented by the formula of AB+CD=AD+CB, is caused with the compounds. And the heat produced accompanied with the above- metnioned chemical reaction is utilized. By this method, high density of heat regeneration (regenerated heat per unit volume) can be obtained, safely at low cost.
