Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the production process by communicating a radiation end of each heat pipe to a cooling chamber in which an externally embossed cooling fluid heat transfer tube is arranged horizontally in a heat collection tube employing a heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Heat absorbing sections 13aW13i equipped with heat collection plates 12aW12i of heat pipes 11aW11i are inserted into glass tubes 14aW14i with one closed end and the ends 16aW16i of the glass tube are sealed with the heat pipes 11aW11i by end plates 17aW17i to be vacuum inside. On the other hand, radiation ends 15aW15i are communicated open to a cooling chamber 18 in which a heat transfer tube 20 is provided with an externally embossed passage to run a cooling fluid 19. This reduce the frequency of the airtight work to one after the sealing of working liquids 21aW21i. The condensed working liquid is evenly returned to the individual heat pipes 11aW11i due to embossed surface of the heat transfer tube 20.
