Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve safe and economical operation of a solar heat collecting apparatus, by shortening the time required for attaining a required degree of vacuum by providing a check valve between a vacuum pump and hollow spaces formed between a glass tube and heat collecting tubes.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collecting tube 3 connected with a water inlet pipe 5 and a hot-water outlet pipe 6 is surrounded by glass tubes 4, and a vacuum pump 10 is connected to hollow spaces formed between the heat collecting tube 3 and glass tubes 4 via evacuating pipes 12, 13, 14. Further, a check valve 19 is provided at a part of the evacuating pipe 14 between a vacuum breaker 15 and a valve 16.
