Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the installation area of a deaerating device which extracts solute from the inside of solns. with an ejector and maintains the inside of a deaerator in a vacuum and the radiation loss from its piping by incorporating monolithic construction for the heater, deaerator and ejector of said device.
CONSTITUTION: A deaerating device is constituted of a heating chamber 6, a deaerating chamber 7 and an ejector 4, and the chamber 6 is constituted of an inlet side liquid chamber 8 through which heating liquid passes, heating pipes 9, an outlet side liquid chamber 10 and a baffle 10. The soln. is pumped 1 through an inlet 15 into the chamber 6 where it flows orthogonally with heating pipes 9, and enters a spray pipe 13 while it is heated. The soln. is sprayed through the small holes of the pipe 13 into the chamber 7 maintained in a vacuum by the ejector 4, by which it is aerated. Exhausting gases are discharged through an outlet 16 by the ejector 4. The soln. is recovered through an outlet 17 into a tank 5. The device is made lightweight and compact by this and since the ejector is installed in the deaeration chamber, noises are reduced as well.
