Since the orifice cap 11 is secured to the stopping position at the time of recording and the head 1 is fed to a typing position isolated from the stopping position, the orifice is opened. It is preferred to face a hole 7 with a cap mechanism 10 in a sub ink tank 2. The hole 7 for absorbing the vibration of the ink pressure due to the vibration of the ink supply system produced at the time of recording is formed at the tank 2.
