Abstract
PURPOSE: To recover valuable metals with high rates of extraction by constituting Mn nodule in an anode active material of a battery and discharging this thereby making the org. metals therein soluble.
CONSTITUTION: Mn nodule is constituted in an anodic active material of a battery and this is discharged, by which Mn matrix and valuable metals existing dispersedly therein can be reduced automatically and extremely easily. Therefore, they are dissolved in a solvent such as dilute acids under extremely mild conditions in a short time, and the respective valuable metallic components are separated from the resultant soln. by a known method. According to this method, the org. metals in the Mn nodule are recovered with high rates of extraction from the inside of the same while taking out energy conversely from the Mn nodule.
