Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the total height of an intake system and improve distributive property of fuel by providing a surge tank downstream of a throttle valve in an intake pipe aggregate and sequentially opening branch pipes two by two further downstream of the surge tank.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection valve 43 and a throttle valve 41 therebehind are disposed in an intake pipe aggregate 4. A surge tank 31 is formed behind the valve 41 to reduce adverse effects of pulsation or the like. Also, behind the tank 31 are formed first branched openings 32, 33 of two branch pipes 35, 36 symmetrically in the valve 41, and second branched openings 301W304 of the respective two branch pipes 311W314 communicate to the rear portions of the respective branch pipes 35, 36. And the respective branch pipes 311W314 are connected to the rear portions of manifolds 21W24 communicating to an engine 1.
