Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a combustion noise in a high load operation range in a suction equipment divided into low and high load passages by providing a control valve in the high load passage and swirling a suction in the high load passage in the opposite direction to that in the low load passage.
CONSTITUTION: A suction port 7 is divided by a partition wall 8 into a low load passage 7a and a high load passage 7b. Disposed in the high load passage 7b, a control valve 10 is opened when a throttle valve 2 is opened to a certain extent or more. The low load passage 7a is curved upward so that a suction is swirled in the direction A in a combustion chamber 6. The high load passage 7b is curved in the opposite direction to the passage 7a so that a suction is swirled in the direction B. As the suction from the low load passage 7a may be dampened at a high load operation time, a combustion noise can be reduced.
