Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve throughput in processing systems by giving task priority for measuring run time thereby permitting the measurement of the run time on the task after arbitrary priority. CONSTITUTION:In the case of determining the task run time of, for example, priority (i) and afterward, out of run times, a run time measurement instruction 16 is outputted to a decorder 1. The prescribed address in a memory 2 in which the start times t1, t2 necessary for measuring the run times are stored are contained in this instruction 16 and the start times t1, t0 are entrained in a data bus 12 continuously via a data output circuit 14 from the prescribed addresses in the memory. These start times t1, t2 are stored respectively in registers 17, 18, and the task run time [t1-t0] of the priority (i) and afterward is obtained from a substrator 19 and is displayed by a display part 5. Then, the task run time of arbitrary priority and afterward is measured.
