Abstract

PURPOSE:To assure the quality of a copied picture even when the power source voltage is fluctuant, by correcting the copying speed according to the change of the presumed electrode position temperature corresponding to the temperature of a fixing part, the fluctuation of the power source, the number of copying sheets, etc. CONSTITUTION:A solid-state relay SSR consisting of a switch SW1, a triac TRC2, etc. is controlled via a microcomputer MPV and in accordance with the temperature of a fixing part and due to a thermistor, etc., a half-cycle period of an AC power source which is formed by the zero cross detection, the power souce voltage produced by the peack holding, etc. Then the pulse width of supplied power, etc. is controlled, and the temperature of the fixing part is set at a prescribed level. When the copying is started, the change of the fixing temperature is predictively decided by the computer MPV and in accordance with the detected value of the power source voltage, the detected value of temperature of the fixing part, the copying sheets, etc. Based on this predictive value, the computer MPV designates the copying speed. In such consitution, the picture quality of picture is assured even when the power supply voltage is fluctuant.
