Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the surface temp. of a heat roll constant and perform copying and fixing of good image quality by so controlling the surface temp. of the heat roll while it is revolving as to maintain the temp. higher than that when it is not revolving. CONSTITUTION:A series circuit of a resistance 42 and a switch 43 is further connected in parallel with a resistance 31 connected in series to a temp. sensor 5. Hereupon, the switch 43 is a switch which is closed by detecting the revolution of a heat roll 1. The resistance 43 is connected in parallel with the resistance 31 in such a manner that a temp. control device 41 operates at the temp. higher by about 20 deg.C which is the temp. difference produced by whether the heat roll 1 is revolving or not. Since the resistance components of the resistances 31, 42 are made smaller than that of the resistance 31 alone, the control temp. by the sensor 5 is increased. Then, excessive lowering of the surface temp. is obviated and good image quality is obtained.
