Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform test in small space easily in special environments as well by mounting a belleville spring to a load imposing part, and loading a test piece by the spring force of said belleville spring. CONSTITUTION:A barlike test piece 21 is penetrated and disposed to a frame body 19, and a nut 20 is screwed to the bottom end part of the test piece 21. A nut 23 is screwed to the top end part of the test piece 21. A ringlike belleville spring 22 and a washer 27 are interposed respectively between the nut 23 and the top surface of the body 19. When the nut 23 is turned and adjusted, prescribed deflection is applied to the spring 22, and constant load tensile stress is applied to the test piece 21. In this case, the strain changes such as creep of the test pieces 11, 21 are absorbed by the constant load characteristics of the springs 12, 22 and therefore the device is simplified, and the test in special environments such as high temperature and high pressure is carried out in small space.
