Abstract
PURPOSE: To apply a load elastically and uniformly by installing respectivety adjustable fastener element on packing studs at upper side of retainer of the upper spring, and adjusting and fastening the fastener element. CONSTITUTION: A pair of an upper dish spring 30 and lower dish spring 32 has such a diameter as they can be arranged around two stud bolts 26, 28. Fastening of the packing nut 34, 36 results in transmission of the pressure to packing 18. At this time, the upper spring retainer 38 and the lower spring retainer 42 slide relatively along a guide face. The lower spring retainer 42 has the same configuration as the upper face of packing follower 24, and combines with the upper face to form a bottom 44. And, each dish spring 30, 32 carries out centering at shoulder part installed in the spring retainer. Compression indicators 50 are equipped in both sides of valve along diameter direction, and are fixed in a suitable shelf part of the lower spring retainer 42. The indicator indicates visual compression applied onto the dish springs 30, 32.
