Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a frictional force between plates almost in proportion to a load and obtain a large increase rate by providing an elastic member for one of the spring plates at least in such a way that it can touch in a shearing manner with other spring plate facing the former, changing its form in accordance with the change in load. CONSTITUTION:The main body 1 is provided with plural number of springplates 2 and 3, which are laminated in the direction of thickness and tightened by a center bolt and the like with each other in the middle in the longitudinal direction. Moreover, at the end of the plate 2 an eye-formed part 4 is formed, while a liner 5 being provided between both spring plates 2 and 3. And on the plate 3, near to its end part, for instance an elastic member 6 is provided. This elastic member 6 is constituted by fitting the central parts of a main spring plate 7 of nearly a bow and an auxiliary spring plate 8 laminated with the former to the spring plate 3 through a rivet 9. In addition, the elastic member 6 is provided between the two plates 2 and 3 so that both ends of its spring plate 7 in the longitudinal direction can touch in the shearing manner with the plate 2 under the loaded condition.
