Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve capability of heat insulation and heat collection and to prevent detachment of an FRP layer by a method wherein a heat collecting panel which is made of a transparent FRP layer laminated on a thin sheet metal coated with selective absorbing material is fabricated with film coherency between the thin sheet metal and the FRP layer.
CONSTITUTION: The subject heat collecting panel 6 is fabricated in such a way that an external surface of the sheet metal 1 is coated with selective absorbing material to form a selective absorbing coat 2 on which a black non-woven fabric 3 is polymerized while the selective absorbing coating 2 is yet in semi-hardened condition. Further, a layer of transparent FRP4 is laminated on the black non-woven fabric 3 by heating and compressing. This heating and compressing procedure can produce a solid integral body having firm coherence between those thin sheet metal 1, selective absoring coating 2, black non-woven fabric 3, and transparent FRP layer 4. At the same time, thickness of the selective absorbing coating 2 becomes approvimatery uniform throughout the surface being free from uneven application of coating material, and no defect of transparency caused by the penetration of selective absorbing coating material into the transparent FRP layer 4 can take place. The above procedures can produce a strong heat collecting panel 6 which is superior in capability of heat insulation and heat collection.
