Abstract

PURPOSE:To control recording with beam detecting signals by attaching a beam detector which detects the arrival of plural beams to a subscribed position and outputs a detecting signal and a beam selecting means to penetrate one of the plural beams into the beam detector. CONSTITUTION:A writing signal projected from an array laser 1 is irradiated to a sensitive drum 5 through a condenser 2, rotary multisurface mirror 3 and Ftheta lens. Plural scanning beams are introduced to a detector 7 through the spaces of a light shielding plate 8 by a reflecting mirror 6. A counter 19 counts up the detection of beams in every detection of a beam the detector 7, the output of a decoder 20 is shifted from C0 to C3 and the detected beam is outputted to output terminals 21-24 through AND gates 15-18.
