Abstract

PURPOSE:To exclude bubbles that have been taken into a head, and to resolve clogging of an ink jetting nozzle, by providing a tube pump in a tube that connects an ink inflow port of the ink jetting nozzle and an ink tank. CONSTITUTION:The first ink supply tube 21 extends from a lower part of the ink tank 17 via the tube pump 18 to the ink inflow port 20 of the ink jetting head 19, and a lower part of the tank 17 and an ink outflow port 22 of the head 19 are directly connected through a second ink supply tube 23. The pump 18 is operated to fill the head 19 and the tube 23 with the ink from the tank 17, then the pump is stopped, the tube is secured to a mounting frame by securing body 24, and while the ink is being supplied through the tube 23 to the head 19, printing is being effected. In case air bubbles are taken into the tube 23 and the head 19, and pump 18 is operated to expell th bubbles back to the tank 17 or to discharge the bubbles together with the ink through the ink jetting nozzle. In case clogging has occurred, the causative ink solid will be discharged together with the ink by the pump 18 through the nozzle.
