Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a recorder easy to fill with ink and to remove bubbles or the like by providing a hole communicated to a suction pump at the bottom of an orifice of an ink jet head while a cap for covering the orifice and the hole is designed to be detachable. CONSTITUTION:A hole 6 is provided in an orifice plate 3 in such a manner as to be communicated to a suction port 7 through a suction path 19. With a cap 9 having a rubber packing 8 pressed against the orifice plate 3, a suction pump 16 is connected to the suction port 7 through a trap 15. A valve 11 provided on a tube connecting an ink tank 12 with an ink feed port 4 and a valve 14 provided on a tube 13 are properly operated to fill with ink or remove bubbles or the like.
