Abstract

Following to this, the cylinder 7 is extended to move the mold 6 rightward. By the operation thereof, the mixed sand in the cavity 4 is squeezed to a high density state. The cavity 4 is made into the prescirbed size at which its left side paet does not project. After squeezing of the mulled sand, a prescribed curing gas is blown through the hole 8, is penetrated through the inside of the mulled sand, and is discharged through the vent penetrated through the inside of the mulled sand, and is discharged through the vent plug (not shown) fitted to metallic molds 1, 2, whereby the mulled sand is cured. Thereafrer, the movable metallic mold 2 is moved rightward and a metallic mold device 3 is opened, thence the mulled sand is removed.
