CONSTITUTION:A part f1 of the RF signal amplified by a power amplifier 1 is taken out from a directional coupler 2 and is mixed with a signal f2 from a voltage control oscillator VCO9 by a mixer 8, and an intermediate frequency signal f3= ¦f2-f1¦of their difference is generated through a low frequency eliminating filter 7. This intermediate frequency f3 is supplied to an integrating circuit 6 to output an output voltage e0, and this voltage E0 is supplied to an amplifier 4. The amplifier 4 detects the difference between the voltage e0 and a reference voltage eS to increase or reduce the amplification factor of the power amplifier 1.
