Abstract

PURPOSE: To exactly remove moisture present in flon liquid by providing a means by which flon liquid in a flon tank is introduced into a dehydrating tank, and the water separated from the flon liquid is discharged to a drain tank.
CONSTITUTION: In the dehydration of flon liquid in a flon condenser, when valves 9b and 9c are closed and a valve 9a is opened, floating water 13 on the flon liquid in a flon tank 2 is trapped in a dehydrating tank 3 through a hole 8 and a tube 7a, and water 13 in the dehydrating tank 3 is pushed out to a drain tank 4 through a drain pipe 7d, whereupon only flon liquid 11 remains in the dehydrating tank 3. Then, when the valve 9c is closed and the valve 9b is opened, the flon liquid 11 inside the dehydrating tank 3 is returned to the main pipe 6 and sucked up by a flon-feeding pump 5. By the repetition of these operations, water 13 inside the flon tank 2 is completely removed. Since this method uses no chemicals, the flon liquid 11 is not contaminated.
