Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure compulsory drainage of the water accumulated through leaking between the bottom walls of a double-bottomed tanks to be used in atomic power, oil and chemical plants for example by employing an ejector.
CONSTITUTION: The inner face of the outer bottom wall 3 of the double wall portion 2 of a tank 1 is inclined with respect to horizontal plane so that waste water leakage accumulated in the space 4 formed between the bottom walls of said tank 1 may be collected in a portion 5. A leakage water pipe 6 is connected so as to open between said bottom walls of said tank 1 for discharging said accumuated leakage. The unconnected end of said water pipe 6 is connected to a working-liquid passing piping 9, and said piping 9 is provided with an ejector 10 of which one end of said water pipe 6 is connected to the medium portion. Therefore, said ejector 10 can be operated by the working liquid in said piping 9 to discharge said leakage through said water pipe 6.
