Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the leakage of fermentation gases and to prevent the dissipation of malodors by providing an inside pipe of which the upper part is projected in a gas tank and the lower part is connected to the bottom part of a fermentation vessel by enclosing a shaft penetrating through the bottom part of said vessel and forming this together with an outside pipe enclosing the inside pipe and having an agitation function as a water sealing device.
CONSTITUTION: An inside pipe 11 of which the upper part is projected into the vapor phase in a gas tank 3 and the lower part is connected to the bottom of a fermentation vessel 2 is provided by enclosing a shaft 8. Further, a cylindrical outside pipe 12 which encloses the pipe 11, is closed in the upper part and is opened in the lower part is provided, and a paddle type agitating vane 13 is provided in the upper part, and a spiral type agitating vale 14 in the lower part. A water sealing device is formed by the pipe 11 and the pipe 12. Therefore, the water sealing of the inside and outside pipes prevent the leakage of fermentation gases, and the vane 13 in the liquid level position of the pipe 12 is effective for deaeration of foam and the vane 14 under the liquid surface for prevention of the solidification and settling of sludge and the acceleration of fermentation.
