Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out degreasing wash in a safe and harmless manner by a method wherein a processed metal to which a working oil is adhered is immersed in a paraffinic mineral oil to form a mineral oil coating thereon and, thereafter, the mineral oil is removed by warm water.
CONSTITUTION: A processed metal 10 to which a working oil is adhered is entered in a bucket 12 and immersed in an immersing tank 16 storing a paraffinic mineral oil 14 for a time sufficient to form a coating of the mineral oil 14. Subsequently, the processed metal 10 is inserted into a washing tank 18 along with the bucket 12 and warm water is injected to the processed metal 10 by a warm water shower 20. By the warm water shower 20, the coating of the mineral oil is emulsified to be flowed and removed and, thereby, said metal is washed. A drain 22 at a bottom part of the washing tank 18 is supplied to a separation tank 24 and separated into the mineral oil 14 and warm water 30. The separated mineral oil 14 is returned to the immersing tank 16 and the warm water 30 is returned to the warm water shower 20. Further, an anti-rust agent may be added to the warm water and the mineral oil.
